Hey everyone.
Aww, man, i just realised
i havent posted for like
10 days n thats just like
practically centuries in
blogging time. D:
Haha, i bet my blog's like really
date nw since there's nothing to
read herer and everything is like
just how it is years and years ago.
Well, lets check in on my life
recently.
Hmm, its not bad actually.
I kinda have gatric problems these
past few days and have been like
having diarrhoea every single day
which is
Disgusting and at the
same time, simply annoying.
And like wadever i eat, i just feel
like puking it out.
How sad.
I really really hate tt feeling.
But i guess im feeling a lil better nw.
:D
So next week is the special wk for
us Sec 2s and we're going overseas
to do CIP work except for a few ppl,
namely, me. (:
Im staying here in singapore and we're
going to this Lion's Befrienders place to
help out old folks.
Atleast we get to not go to sch!
WEE!
Anything is still better than studying.
And u ppl who are going to the other
countries, dun forget to get me souveniers!
Haha, i sound so thickskin for asking them
to buy me stuff.
Fine, im just kiding.
I wont mind if u dun get me souveniers.
Haha. But it would be strongly encouraged.
Ok, enough bout my boring life for nw.
Bye u ppl. (:
Let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.
— Malachi 2:15
The drama played out in a nest of bald eagles monitored by a webcam. A beloved eagle family, viewed by many via the Internet, was breaking up. After raising several offspring in previous seasons, the mother again laid new eggs in the spring. But then a young female invaded their happy home. When Dad started cavorting with her, Mom disappeared and the life in the abandoned eggs died.
In an Internet chat room, questions and accusations flew wildly. Everyone who loved the pair was distraught. Biologists warned the amateur eagle enthusiasts not to attribute human values to birds. But everyone did. We all wanted the original couple to reunite. Everyone seemed to “know” that the family unit is sacred.
As chat room members expressed their sadness, I wondered if they knew that God feels much the same way about human family breakups. I also wondered about myself: Why did I feel more sadness over the eagles than over the fractured human families in my community? Clearly, I need to revise my priorities.
In Malachi 2, we see God’s view of marriage. It symbolizes His covenant with His people (v.11). He takes it very seriously—and so should we.
— Julie Ackerman Link
Thinking It Over
In Malachi 2:11, what is “profaned” and how?
How does Malachi 2:15 echo Genesis 2:24?
Why is this important?
(Mal. 2:15-16)
Put Christ first if you want your marriage to last.

Hey People!
Yes, i have just came back frm
Mars so tt explains y i havent
posted for like millions of
yrs. ;D
Well, no i didnt go to Mars
but i did not posted for like
10 yrs.
Anw, nothing much happened
recently tho.
Went out with Kajal to Cathay
Cineplex and watched Valkyrie
which was pretty awesome except
for the part tt Tom Cruise dies.
Tt was simple devastating.
So the initial plan was tt, Me,
Jia Yi, Flo, Fel, Ash, and Kajal.
were all supposed together.
But Jia Yi could not go in the end
cuz she didnt tell her mum and
she didnt bring her money.
And next was Flo and Fel.
They had to go grocery shopping
at Novena and Fel had to go take
an injection at Tan Tock Seng
aft tt.
So yea, another 2 gone.
So tt left with Ash.
Well, she just couldnt come cuz her
mum didnt allow her cuz her mum
claimed tt she was rude and
disrespectful or something.
So in the end, it was just us 2.
We were kinda on the fence whether
we shoud go cuz like its only 2 ppl
and it was like raining then n both
of us dun have an umbrella.
But in the end, we just decided to
go cuz we already planned everytihng.
But when we reached there, we were
kinda lost cuz we didnt noe the way
to Cathay cineplex.
We then asked a couple of ppl and
continued walking.
So we were like kinda rushing cuz it
was like already 1.55 and
the movie was at 2.10 so we were like
walking superly fast and guess wad?
We were in such a rush tt we ran
past cathay cineplex and like walked
till centrepoint.
Well, we didnt realise tt we arent
exactly at the right place so we
quickly rushed back n finally
reached Cathay at like 2.10?
But we then realised they'll show
the previews and stuff which will
probably last for another 10mins.
So i then had an idea where we can
sneak in subway food n hide it in
our bags since our bags r kinda huge
anw.
So in the end, thats wad we did n
we were able to make the movie right
on time! :D
Ok so about the movie.
The 1st part wasnt tt nice, cuz
it was kinda boring n all.
But aft tt, it got nicer and nicer.
And yea, we kinda enjoyed it aft all.
So by the time the movie ended, it
was abt 4.40+?
And yea, it was oso raining then.
And heavily too.
So we were like thinking of a way
to get go hm then without getting
wet n we decided to buy an umbrella
at 1st but it was like such a waste
cuz we wont be using it like for the
rest of our lives.
So we kinda waited till like 5 for
the rain to lessen down and we then
walked to the MRT station.
Ok, so i guess there's nothing more
for me to say.
Hope tt i'll post soon! :D
XOXO; (:
Beloved, now we are children of God.
— 1 John 3:2
The story is told that the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer (1788–1860) was sauntering through Berlin’s famous Tiergarden one day, mentally probing the questions of origin and destiny that had been constantly perplexing him: Who am I? Where am I going?
A park-keeper, closely observing the shabbily dressed philosopher as he walked slowly with head bowed, suspected that Schopenhauer was a tramp. So he walked up to the philosopher and demanded, “Who are you? Where are you going?” With a pained expression, Schopenhauer replied, “I don’t know. I wish somebody could tell me.”
Are you ever perplexed by those same questions? Who am I? Where am I going? What a comfort it is to have God’s authoritative answers in the Bible. Who are we? In 1 John 3, John calls his readers “children of God” (v.2). We become His children by receiving Jesus as our Savior from sin (John 1:12). And where are we going? John 14:1-6 tells us that one day He will receive us into a home He is preparing in heaven.
Our Maker is not only the Author of science and history, but He writes the story of every member of Adam’s family—yours and mine. We can trust His answers.

And while the wave-notes fall on my ear,
Everything false will disappear.

Hey everyone
Here to update my blog
once again.
Well, lets see, sch was
alright today except for
the tiring mass run and aft
tt, we had PE and we were
forced to run for another
10 mins.
Yes, it is a miracle how i
could be alive right now.
;D
Anw, we oso played floor
ball during PE.
And guess wad?
Our team lost by like 5 points?
I think its mainly cuz of me
cuz like i totally suck at it.
Haha.
But Joan, Paulina, Kailing and
the rest were pretty good.
(:
Let me see if there's anything
interesting that happened today.
Oh i noe, ok, so we had lit today.
And were supposed to make a
powerpoint slide and present it to
the class.
Our grp kinda had difficulty finding
the info and in the end, we just like
copied and pasted the whole chunk
of info on to the slides and we
were so out of time that we didnt
even like know which slide
one of us should say.
So in the end we were like so messed
up cuz we were oso the 1st ones to
present.
And yea, aft reading 2 points,
the teacher just asked us to stop.
LOL.
Haha
Oh and during eng, we oso had to
record our video.
These are the few problems we faced:
1) We didnt bring our camera so had
to use my HP cam in the end
2) We couldnt find the right place
to film
3) I kept laughing when i was filming
4) Elaine was pissed at us, LOL.
Ok, so i guess thats abt it.
C u guys soon.
You, being dead in your trespasses, . . . He has made alive together with Him.
— Colossians 2:13
On February 6, 1958, a chartered plane carrying most of the members of the English football (soccer) club Manchester United crashed on takeoff from Munich, Germany. With so many of their star players lost, some despaired over prospects for the club’s survival. Yet today it is one of the best-known teams in the world. Fittingly, the man who rebuilt the team, Matt Busby, survived the crash himself.
Nearly 2,000 years ago, Jesus’ arrest and subsequent crucifixion caused many of His followers to despair. The disciples themselves had lost hope. But their despondency evaporated on that first Easter morning when they found that the stone sealing the tomb had been moved aside (John 20:1). Jesus had risen!
Jesus soon appeared to Mary Magdalene (vv.11-16) and then to His disciples, who had gathered behind locked doors (v.19). His visit brought a remarkable change in them. As one version renders it, they were “overjoyed” (v.20 NIV).
Perhaps your world has crashed around you. It may be a deeply personal loss, a tragedy in your family, or some other great trial. Jesus’ resurrection proved that He is greater than the greatest obstacles. He can rebuild your life—as He did with His disciples—starting today.
— C. P. Hia
He rose! And with Him hope arose, and life and light.
Men said, “Not Christ, but death, died yesternight.”
And joy and truth and all things virtuous
Rose when He rose.

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds.
— Philippians 4:7
At the height of their popularity, creativity, and wealth, the Beatles produced a controversial project called “The White Album.” It signaled the breakup of the band by featuring pieces that were primarily individual in nature instead of collaborative.
It also revealed a growing disenchantment with all that their fame had produced. In his song “I’m So Tired,” John Lennon expressed the emptiness of his “successful” and wealthy life with these profound words: “I’d give you everything I’ve got for a little peace of mind.” All that he had, all that he had accomplished, and all that he had become could not meet this simple, yet deep, personal need.
The world we live in cannot offer peace. It offers only poor options. Pleasure, power, and possessions are no substitute for peace of heart and mind.
Paul reminded the believers at Philippi, “The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:7). This is the peace God brings to those who have been reconciled to God by faith in His Son Jesus (Eph. 2:14-16). It is a peace we are to share with a world that is desperate for it.
Peace—real peace—is found only in a relationship with Jesus. Have you received His peace?
— Bill Crowder
Finding Real Peace
Accept the reconciliation God offers by asking Him
to forgive you. Believe that His Son Jesus died on the
cross for your sins and was raised from the dead.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.
— Jesus

Did this famous ppl art potrait
thing where we had to draw a
famous person.
We were supposed to print the
pic of a famous person but i forgot
to so i just i chose one of the
pics Mr Yip printed for us.
I immediately took Jennifer Aniston
when i saw her pic.
I was like so happy.
:D
She's AWESOME!
Ok, but i really did a great job
destroying her with my bad drawing
skills.
Haha.
Ok, i guess i have nothing more to

Buh-bye! ;D
We have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed.
— 2 Peter 1:19
Punxsutawney Phil is a groundhog that comes out of his burrow on Gobbler’s Knob, Pennsylvania, each February 2 to predict the weather. According to legend, if Phil sees his shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of cold weather. If he doesn’t see his shadow, spring will come early.
This is all humbug and good humor, of course. No one to my knowledge takes Phil’s predictions seriously. Furthermore, he’s unreliable—more often wrong than right, I’m told.
There is One, however, who is always right and whom we must take seriously. Peter writes of Him, “We have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19).
Peter was thinking of that day on the Mount of Transfiguration with James and John when he saw Jesus standing with the two great prophets of the Old Testament, Moses and Elijah. In that august company of true prophets the Father pointed to the Son and said: “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Luke 9:35). Jesus’ word is a “prophetic word” that is certain!
There is One who is never wrong and who will never lead us astray: our Lord Jesus. We must hear Him!
— David H. Roper
At the name of Jesus bowing,
Falling prostrate at His feet,
King of kings in heaven we’ll crown Him
When our journey is complete.
— Baxter
In a world full of speculation, only God’s Word is certain.
