Hey everyone.
Ok, anw, today was an alright day
for me. (:
Woke up at arnd 10pm cuz like we
only have to reach the place at like
11, so i figured its actually the right
time to wake up.
Ok, so aft like i woke up and got ready
and stuff, i realised it was like raining
like crazy outside.
The rain was so heavy, seriously.
So i wanted to take a taxi but Kajal
asked me to meet her at Queenstown
mrt so i decided to just take the train.
And yea, guess wad?
Just when i reached tiong mrt, my entire
skirt was like soaking wet.
Tt was hot heavy the rain is.
Seriously, my entire skirt was completely
wet and yes, rain did get into my shoes
which made my socks like wet as well.
So actually, i was wet all over, even my
my toes were wet.
How great is tt.
LOL, i just realised tt i've been self-pitying
quite alot bout the rain thing so i shall
stop nw.
Cuz i noe u guys r already kinda irritated
with hearing my complaints.
Oh so anw, reached queenstown mrt arnd
like 11 and yes, i was late cuz we were
actually supposed to reach the place at 10.50.
So Kajal, iris and Zenice (kajal made her w8 for me)
waited there for like more than 10mins.
And yes, when we reached the place, we were
actually like the last ones to reach there.
Oops, so i guess its my fault.
D: Sorry u guys!
In the beginning, we just listen to the old
folks sing karaoke.
They seem to enjoy themselves. (:
So thats good.
Aft tt, i was lunch break and me and kajal
decided to go to common wealth which
turns out not to be a good idea aft all.
Well, everything was fine when we got
to commonwealth.
I bought hokkien mee for $3.50 which
btw, tastes exactly like the one in wisma
and better yet, its like cheaper and easier
to eat cuz the peeled off the prawn shell.
And Kajal bought her Chicken cutlet rice
which she claims its the best thing she has
ever eaten i think.
LOL.
Ok, so aft we have finished eating, it was
almost 12.50 already and we were supposed
to be back by 1pm.
So we were like its ok to be a few mins late,
they wont really bother.
Yea, so we got to the mrt station and i
started walking to pasir ris side.
Then Kajal was like saying i was going
the wrong way n pulled me to Joo Koon
side.
Being the blur one, and Kajal always
being the one who is more alert, we went on
the Joo Koon train.
So when we got up, Kajal suddenly realised
tt we were on the wrong train n we were
supposed to go on the Pasir ris train.
So we got off at buona vista n took
the Pasir ris train instead.
We seriously wasted like alot of time.
Cuz we realised tt while we were waiting
for the Joo Koon train, we like missed
2 of the pasir ris train and then at Buona
vista, we had to w8 another extra 2 mins
and it took us like 4 mins to reach Queenstown.
Ok, maybe w didnt waste tt much time.
But still.
And so in the end, we were like maybe
10mins late but like the teacher still
didnt scold us so i guess we were alright.
We just blended into the crowd and tot
the old folks how to fold paper hearts
n kinda chit chatted with them. :D
Well, i guess i have nothing more to say.
Oh and yes, Flo, Kajal, Jia yi and me r
going out this fri aft our CIP thing.
We wanted Ash to come but her mum
doesnt allow.
So yes, how sad is tt. ):
Ok, anw, i have nothing more to say so
i guess i'll just end off here.
Bye. (:
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life.
— 1 Timothy 6:12
Tolkien’s classic The Lord of the Rings trilogy came to life in recent years on film. In the second epic story, the hero, Frodo, reached a point of despair and wearily confided to his friend, “I can’t do this, Sam.” As a good friend, Sam gave a rousing speech: “It’s like in the great stories . . . . Full of darkness and danger they were. . . . Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.” Which prompted Frodo to ask: “What are we holding on to, Sam?”
It’s a significant question, one that we all need to ask ourselves. Living in a fallen, broken world, it’s no wonder that sometimes we feel overwhelmed by the powers of darkness. When we are at the point of despair, ready to throw in the towel, we do well to follow Paul’s advice to Timothy:
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life” (1 Tim. 6:12).
In life’s battles, let’s hold on to the fact that good will triumph over evil in the end, that one day we will see our Master and Leader face-to-face, and we will reign with Him forever. You can be part of this great story, knowing that if you have trusted Jesus for salvation you are guaranteed a victorious ending!

The trials of earth are small compared with the triumphs of heaven.
