Hey everyone!
The results are out.
Today was an exceptionally
scary day for most of us.
We got back like the results
for sci, math, HMT, lit and hist.
Aww man, MY LIT! D:
Ok, i shall not talk abt tt.
It's pissing me off.
Based on my results, i feel kinda
bad always on the comp and like
enjoying myself.
Should i be studying instead?
That does seem like the better
thing to do but its like aft the
exams and who would feel like
studying nw?!
Oh and i've already watched the 24th
episode of GG!
I so cant w8 for ep 25 which is the
season finale!
Will Chuck and Blair get together?
(EWWW!)
Will Serena and Dan get back together
again? (They look so CUTEEE together!)
Well, these qns will be answered tmr,
i hope.
I cant w8 to watch it! :D
Ok, just so u noe, im only talking
bout Gossip girl cuz i have nothing
better to talk abt.
Yeap, thats how boring my life is
right nw.
Oh and the saddest thing happened,
I got rejected to NJC. ):
But its ok, it's just my MYE results
tt matter nw.
Hope my overall percentage is still
good! (:
Fingers crossed!
BYE! :D
We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
— 2 Corinthians 5:8
Recently, I wished a young friend “happy birthday” and asked him how it felt to be a year older. His playful response? “Well, I guess it’s better than the alternative!”
We laughed together, but I later stopped to think—is it really? Don’t misunderstand me. I’m happy to live as long as the Lord allows me to live and to watch my kids and grandkids grow and experience life. I’m not excited about the inevitability of death. But as a believer, the alternative to getting older is heaven—and that’s not bad!
In 2 Corinthians 5, Paul talks about the reality of living with the aches and pains of our physical bodies, our “tents” of flesh. But we should not live in despair about aging. In fact, the apostle calls us to just the opposite. He wrote, “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord” (v.8). Confident! Pleased! Why? Because our alternative to earthly life is that we will be present with the Lord—forever! The heavenly perspective of what awaits us can give us confidence for living now.
If you know Christ, His promise can give you what the hymnwriter called, “Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.” What a great alternative!
— Bill Crowder
He’s gone “to prepare a place for you,”
That where He is, “there you may be.”
Our death is not the end of life—
We’ll be with Christ eternally!

Hey everyone!
Ok, i guess u guys must be
wondering is this a miracle?
Am i FINALLY posting again?
Haha, yes i am.
As u guys may have noticed,
the last time i posted was at
20 April.
Right, so the last time i posted
was abt a month ago.
How great is tt.
Anw, ALOT have been going on since
the period i've been MIA.
Well, let me just take some time to
tell u guys more bout wad's been going
on in my life lately.
(this might be kinda long)
So the biggest news ever -
MYE is OVER!
WEE! :D
So it was tue when we had our last paper
which was math and me, flo, kajal, jia yi,
ash, andrea and fel decided to go Vivo
to have fun aft tt long period
of studying.
Me, kajal, ash, jia yi and andrea went to
watch 17 again while flo and fel went
to watch X men/star trek instead cuz they've
already seen 17 again.
Anw, 17 again is like SUPER funny!
We practically laughed our heads off.
It was great.
:D
Oh yea, as u guys may have heard,
we got back our results!
Well not everything, just eng and sci sect A.
Im not gonna tell everyone how much i got
though, so i guess u guys would just
have to try figure it out for urselves.
;D
And guess wad?
I had the most fun ysd.
Ash, Jia yi and flo came to my hse and swam!
We had a blast!
Except for Flo cuz she only stayed like for
40mins?!
At around 1pm, Jia yi and Ash reached tiong
MRT.
Went to fetch them and walked to my hse.
We changed into our swimming costumes
1st and put on sun screen, etc.
Aft which, got down to the big pool and
swam.
And let me tell u, Jia yi has like super
powers or something.
She kept swimming lap aft lap aft lap and
she swims like super fast, k???
I am really shocked how she could do
it. Seriously.
We then went down to the jacuzzi and soaked
in there for awhile.
Then we took pics and ok, the pics r so
embarrasing!
We were like posing and posing.
So then we went on the slide and took
turns taking pics for one another.
Ok so then like flo suddenly called aft
1 hr and told us she was at my hse already.
Guess wad, we had to run downstairs to
the carpark in our swimming costumes.
Imagine seeing 3 girls in their swimming
costumes running down to the carpark,
soaking wet.
Yeap, tt was how stupid we looked.
So then we went to the steaming room
and it was like so freaking hot!!
There was so much of steam everywhere
and we then took more pics in the
steaming room.
Ok, so then all of us went up to the
big pool and took even more pics.
But, thanks to my brilliant phone,
the pics we took at the big pool
were somehoe gone and we couldnt find
it anymore.
The sad thing was, those were the nice
pics! D:
Im so pissed with my phone right nw.
But anw, i still had the greatest time
ysd! We had so much fun!!
Hope we can do tt again sometime soon.
:D
Ok so thats all i have to say.
But before i go, i wanna thank Ash and
Huishi for the only 2 ppl who come to
tag at my blog.
Thx guys, u rock. (:
Oh and i changed my blogskin!
Ok, bye! :D
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.
— Colossians 3:16
In a suburb of Nairobi, Kenya, a group of international refugees has been singing songs that they hope will wake up their homeland. According to the BBC, the group Waayah Cusub has been enjoying extensive airplay on radio stations and television channels by using bold lyrics to address social issues. One of the musicians says, “We are not happy with what is happening back home; in fact we have recorded a thought-provoking song that we hope will bring our leaders back to their senses.”
Long before Waayah Cusub began using songs to call for an end to social pain and violence, God taught Moses to use music in a bold and provocative way. Knowing that His people’s sinful inclinations would distract them when they began to enjoy the prosperity of the Promised Land (Deut. 31:21), God told Moses to teach them the song of chapter 32. It is a shocking song of warning, designed to get the attention of those who would forget God and fill their lives with trouble.
Could our wise and loving God be repeating that strategy with us? Is there a psalm, a hymn, or a spiritual song that is calling us back to His faithfulness and amazing grace? What song might He be using to get under the radar of our natural defenses and renew our hearts today?
— Mart De Haan
Come, Thou fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.

Where words fail, music speaks.
